In pottery terms, a "second" is an imperfect ceramic that can be sold at wild discount. Each piece is unique with its own character. No flaws affect the piece--they are all still fully functional with a splash of extra personality.

Why is this a Seconds Sale Item?: Small cracks at base. It does not affect the functionality of the piece; this sometimes occurs during the high fire glaze firing in the kiln.
