In pottery terms, a "second" is an imperfect ceramic that can be sold at wild discount. Each piece is unique with its own character. No flaws affect the piece--they are all still fully functional with a splash of extra personality.

A larger ofrenda-puja-inspired space for cherished finds, photos, earth treasures and the like.

Similar to the altar pieces, my hope is create a space that becomes adorned with whatever inspiration you need at that moment or season in life…a mini zen zone to hold honor or remembrance of whatever you want to keep close to your heart.

Measures: 7.5” tall and ”8 across.

Why is this a Seconds Sale?: On the back side of this piece there are 3 small, shallow cracks. These do not affect the functionality of the piece in any way—this sometimes occurs during the high fire glaze firing in the kiln.

Either with a passing glance or taking time to gaze it, may you reflect on the memories of what you have placed there, pray, take deep breathes, or simply rest. I like these pieces because you participate in them…(and hopefully you’ll notice more and more of the smaller gifts/reminders all around you…)
